1983 Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon 3.5 V8 from UK and Ireland

Faults:

New radiator, new camshaft kit, every engine orifice leaks, rain leaks in the doors.

General Comments:

Great fun to drive, no-one gets in your way, VERY noisy to drive, you can see over hedges in the countryside, takes 6 adults with their holiday luggage and 3 dogs (albeit at 15 mpg!)

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

The 110 Defender was not launched until 1984. If it is a 1983 then it must be a Series III 109. Look for leaf springs to be sure.

You are mistaken, the 110 was introduced in 1983 - for sure!!

The (Land Rover Defender) model was introduced in 1983 as "Land Rover One Ten", and in 1984 the "Land Rover Ninety"was added . That is the truth.
