I am tired of whoever is writing all of these comments slamming their BMW X5 and boasting about their RX330. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the BMW, but it is not necessary to write a comment in response to every single review about how great the Lexus is and how horrible the BMW is. I know a lot of people who are very happy with their X5 and have had great experiences with the different BMW dealers here in GA. You are practicing post-purchase behavior by telling yourself and others how great your new car is compared to others that I consider equally good, but suited for different buyers.

Sorry, but the X5 is a horribly unreliable car that has deeply flawed electrics.

Ironic given the 5 series wagon offers more room and is substantially more reliable. I know, I owned a 528i sedan and it beat my old Hondas and Toyotas for reliability.

Well then stick with your 5 sedan and give it a rest! The rest of us are happy with our BMWs, Lexuses, Mercedes, whatever. We are all fortunate to be able to have such machinery!

Everyone needs to stop arguing over their cars. Everyone has different views on their cars. I will only drive Mercedes because I grew up with them, but my wife will only drive Lexus. Its all a personal opinion. I don't really care when I have to put $2,000.00 into my car if it will help it run better. So keep your opinions to yourself.

God lord! This is ridiculous!! Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and if we offend you so much, then quit checking what everyone else is saying. Maybe you're are getting so upset because you know everyone else is right about your BMW!!

I own both, a BMX X5 and Lexus RX330, both 2004 models... and if I were to offer advice to someone considering purchasing a used model, I would encourage consideration first be given to the Lexus. I very much like the fit and finish of the BMW and its drivability, but I have found that too many quirks arise from time to time that I find, for a lack of better words, a pain in the ass. The Lexus I have been able to put the key in the ignition and drive without any bugaboos... the interior is not bad either. My next vehicle will not be BMW.
