1994 Mazda B4000 LE review from North America
"The truck is super!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The serpentine belt pulleys broke.
Air conditioner went out around 150k.
The intake gasket started leaking antifreeze.
Now, at almost 200k, the power windows are out.
Just fixed an interesting problem where the transmission fluid was being drawn into the engine by a defective modulator valve. Fixed it myself after I found it behind the heat shield for the catalytic converter. Pull the vacuum hose off it, and if you see transmission fluid you have a defective valve. Now, transmission shifts properly, and my oil level for the engine is stable again. So far, I haven't had to add any more transmission fluid.
General comments?
Truck is very reliable.
The 4 liter V6 is awesome.
Paint has been very durable.
Grey interior is nice.
