"Reliable work horse"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I have had no problems to date with this car. The engine runs like a top. The car is garaged. Regardless of how cold it is, it turns over without hesitation.

The only issue is related to the dealership. The car was flawless in performance until the dealership serviced my car. It makes a noise when I turn the wheels after I had the alignment checked.

I blame the service, NOT the car. The car is a work horse.

General comments?

My car has been extremely reliable and dependable. I purchased it hoping that it would last for a very very long time.

The auto unlock device does not work unless you hold the key next to the door. It is very hard to get the door unlocked. You have to press for a long time before the key unlocks. (It is NOT the battery; I have replaced it for good measure).

Visibility isn't the greatest as you sit low and are surrounded by a sea of large SUVs in the US.

My Sport C230 Kompressor Mercedes Benz model 2000 is great in a lot of ways. It has a very strong engine where I can outrun lots of 6 cylinder engines like the C240, and even the C280, plus it has an outstanding grip where when you can go through very sharp turns at very high speeds, and the car embarrasses the road in contrary of the newer C (2001 and above which has a very poor grip).

The braking system is great too, where it always stops the car at whatever speed I'm going. But as for the transmission;it is great when I'm racing or going at a very high speed (when the car is put on sports mode), but when I want go slowly it is not comforting at all where it does not shift easily; for example when I'm going downwards and so the transmission should be on the highest gear, which is the 5th one, but it doesn't do it until you gas it to a certain higher speed, then the normal car should be, so this irregularly in the transmission, which makes the desired smooth drive not that smooth, where you'll always have the feeling the car is on a lower transmission than it should be.
