Cup holder door persistently refuses to work properly even after several trips to repair.
Passenger Front Window requires above average maintence and repair - faulty fuse.
A/C needed recharging a little early.
Smooth as silk and nicely powered. One of the most comfortable cars I've ever driven.
Very comfortable and controls are nicely placed, with the exception of traction control on/off switch.
Visibility excellent for all passengers, spacious, plenty of headroom, easy to clean, Solid Road feel.
Surprisingly good fuel efficiency.
Very impressive suspension.
Hey. had the cupholder problem in my old e class too. when the door gets stuck open and the cup holder won't stay down try pushing on one of either top corners of the door to make it catch and latch and it should hold the cupholder down. it seemed to work for me / mine. good luck.
Just bought my first Mercedes, pick-up is for Jan. 2006.
It's a 2001 E320, black on black.
Rode terrific, beautiful inside - nice horses too. I'll let you know what the verdict is after using it for a while.
