All new tires, shocks/struts/brakes 90,000 - $700.00.

General Comments:

This car has NOT been enjoyable in any way! We will NEVER purchase (new or used) another Ford/Mercury product.

It is a good car, but I don't trust it on long trips. I would recommend it to the elderly.

1992 Mercury Sable LS 3.0 from North America

Summary:

My Jamie is one of a kind

Faults:

So far nothing has gone wrong, but I can feel that the tranny is starting to slip more and more often. I got the car from an older relative, for a very good price and that is the only reason I still drive it.

General Comments:

Not a good car for a teenager.

1992 Mercury Sable LS 3.8 from Netherlands

Faults:

The brakes are now sticking a bit. Think it just needs some regular maintenance. Not one serious issue or even slight problem encountered with this car :-)

General Comments:

Very nice, smooth car. Silent and powerful engine. For US car standards a large trunk. Very economic with the fuel (1 litre for each 9.5 kilometres).

No problems encountered, it's very reliable, even better than my previous 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee!

I think the response from Ford in "form letters" is something you will get from any automaker. I had similar response from Chrysler.

I also have a 92 Mercury Money pit. Over all is still a nice ride.

When did you send ford these complaints?

If it's a 1992 model and you got it used and sent comlaints in like 1998 then ford really has no obligation to help you unless those things were recalls.

Plus it's a 92!

What do you want?
