2001 Oldsmobile Alero GLS review from North America
"It sucks"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes have gone out several times.
Belt around A/C had to be replaced ($500)
Window motor had to be replaced ($300)
Seats have worn badly
Wipers do not wipe efficiently.
Seat mechanisms have slipped on a number of occasions.
Panel lights - brake, service engine, low tires, etc. - constantly on.
General comments?
The Alero is a very peppy and sporty car and it really does look nice; however, it is the biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased. The car has had more problems than any new car I have every bought. I would NEVER, EVER buy another GM car again. I curse the day I ever saw this car and the person who sold it to me.
