The cutest and most affordable car ever!
Since I bought the car only six months ago, I have had to replace my two front tires 3 times, as a result of very poor tire alignment from when I first purchased the car by the previous owner. In order for me to have had the tire alignment fixed, I also had to get the left tie-rod replaced, because it was very loose.
The spark plugs had to be changed out around 148,000 miles.
About two weeks after I bought the car, the speedometer stopped working properly. Sometimes it will work, and other times, it sits at 0 MPH. My mileage actually reads 151,000 miles, but considering the amount of miles I have driven with the broken speedometer, I guesstimate it to be around 153,000 miles.
The shocks were giving me a lot of trouble all throughout the winter, especially when temperatures reached below freezing. They work fine now that it is starting to warm up.
At or around 151,000 miles, the gas gauge has also started to fail a bit. I will fill the car up completely, and sometimes when I start it, the gas gauge is still on "E", and will slowly creep up to the "F" mark.
Though the interior is not much to look at, there are a lot of cosmetic eye sores on the exterior, and the gauges and wiring are going out. This car is still cute-looking, and is one of the best I ever driven!
It gets great gas mileage with not a lot to fill the tank (today, it is less than $40 to fill completely).
It drives pretty good, considering how old it is.
Once the repairs were made, it rides pretty sturdy for the most part.
Even though it is compact, it could do better on maneuvering through tight spaces.
It is an ideal car for any college student! And I highly recommend it.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
