1984 Pontiac 6000 LE Wagon review from North America
"Pontiac 6000s are built to last so don't give up"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I really can't say anything has gone wrong with the car. They are just regular thing that needed to be changed and repaired like tires, radiator, tune up's and and rusted out doors, and it has a little trouble starting in the winter.
But it gets us around. Even though we are below a budget of $800.00 a month, this car is worth spending on.
General comments?
At first when I bought it my grandson didn't like it, but over the years he has fallen in love with the car and enjoys working on the car even when it is his money paying to fix it up nicely.
I was surprised when someone asked me if the car was new and tried to make me an ofter for $5,000.00. I said no, it's been sold to my grandson.
My 16 and a half, going on 17 year old Pontiac 6000 LE Wagon is the best car that we have ever bought. I know since people I don't know keep bugging me about it.
The car is in great shape and runs like new. It drives great with 100% light power steering in the winter and summer. I can even fit at least 8-9 people in this vehicle while driving without problems with gas or feeling uncomfortable.
The front wheel drive has gotten me out of a lot of trouble even in mud when I could have been stuck.
I know my grandson wouldn't give up on his future car (Pontiac) and I hope no who owns a Pontiac does. If my grandson was working with the GM company he would start building the Pontiac 6000's again. We hope these people who are working with the GM company think about building them again I am sure a lot of people would too cause I know I do. I would tell them but I don't know how to get the message to them but I hope someone does.
