1997 Pontiac Grand Am review from North America
"Good on the outside, but too many repairs on the inside"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Everything that I have read on here is very true about my car. It is my first car and we only paid $2500 for it, and already we have paid more in repairs than the car is worth.
Both my passenger and drivers side windows have gone out twice, my A/C has gone out, we have replaced my brakes numerous times, and my radio volume control also has a mind of its own.
The carpet was worn when we first got the car, and it was barely driven.
My glove box handle just came off the other day, my review mirror has fallen off, my speaker fell off the door, and now my car has a lake in it every time it rains, or just puddles on the floor on both sides of the car when it feels like it.
We have taken it to the dealer many time to try and get the water problem fixed, and no one can figure out what's causing it, so they think it's my windshield and so it's getting resealed soon.
This is a good car, good engine and gets me where I need to go, but is not worth all the constant repairs and money that I have to put into it when I've just started college.
