1990 Pontiac Grand Am ES review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Muffler fell off at 110,000 miles.
Heater core hose broke at 125,000 miles.
Alternator belt broke at 100,000 miles.
General comments?
I payed $500 dollars for this car, sight unseen. I have put 30,000 miles on this car and spent very little money on it. The most being new tires when I bought it. The car averages 25 to 35 miles per gallon consistently. The car runs good and handles great. I drive the car about 500 miles a week and I am very satisfied with its performance. I would recommend a Pontiac Grand Am to all my friends whether they were buying a new one or a used one. Pontiac made a very good car when they made the Grand Am.
