Cheap and easy to repair if anything should go wrong.
Handles superbly on corners and bends due to the wide 15" wheels.
Loves to be revved over 4000, where it kicks in although a little high when cruising at 70mph.
Never fails to start straight away.
THe original stereo is rubbish so I replaced it with a CD player.

I was only joking when I said a wolf in sheeps clothing, but they are quite nippy for a 1400, you lot take things too literally (lighten up)
The Rover is a really good car!
Oh and the most powerful car I have ever driven is a Triumph Stag, oh and I own it AS WELL AS A GOOD RUN-AROUND, THE ROVER 214 SEI!

Well I used to own a Fiat Croma turbo ie and that really was a WOLF!!!
Well I have a rover 214 sei on an m reg with a k&n and I've left plenty of peaple standing I think ther quick 4 a 1400...
