The ABS Module, several Wheel Speed Sensors, and all wiring to and from these things have been replaced. 2 lights on the panel have continually been on.
I purchased a 2006 Saturn Vue in March 2006. My first one was purchased on a Saturday and broke down on the side of the road 4 hours later. I requested a new Vue. When I received the 2nd one It lasted 3 weeks. Since then it has been in and out of the shop for the same problem. 2 panel lights continually come on when there is no visible problem. Since the purchase date, the 2nd Vue has been in the shop on and off for 21 days. The ABS Module, several Wheel Speed Sensors, and every connector and wire in between has been replaced. I am completely dissatisfied. I would not recommend this vehicle to ANYONE, EVER!
I have a 2006 Vue that stopped running last Friday. It's been in the shop 9 days now and they still don't know exactly what is wrong with it. It just won't start. They replaced the computer already. A whole new set of 'connectors' has been ordered, because according to them they were faulty from the factory. But they are not certain this will fix the problem. The car ran fine, it has 16,000 miles on it, before this. Has anybody had anything like this happen?
If the car won't start or if it stops running, have them check the cam sensors.
I note that your car has the Honda drive train, so I don't doubt that you are having problems. Don't write Saturn off because of defective Honda parts. Yes, it was a bad decision to use an inferior import drive train, but next time look for a GM or Saturn with a GM engine and transmission. You'll find them far more reliable.
Maybe you should read the review again, there weren't any problems with the engine. The Honda engine is what makes it such a great deal.
I don't have an answer, but I have been complaining to Saturn about my transmission issue for over 3 months now. Every time I take it to them, they say they can't find anything wrong. It's like the front end starts vibrating, and at the same time the rpm needle raises up, then comes back down when the vibration stops. It will do this going down the road at 35 mph steady.
I have complained about this in the beginning, but they said it was my brakes doing it's self check each time I start the vehicle and head down the road. I hear that too initially, but this is different and not right.
At one point I was driving down the road and the whole front end shook so bad that I almost turned back around, but went ahead and drove it anyways because it's still under warranty. What really erks me is that my factory warranty just expired last month, and just before that I purchased a 100,000 mile extended warranty from my credit union that I have the loan with, and the last time I took it in (still under factory warranty) Saturn had asked me for my extended warranty papers... I don't want to use my extended warranty for something that I had been complaining about before I purchased it.

Evidently you missed the part where the reviewer said the vehicle broke down on the side of the road. That sounds like an engine problem to me.
I like the Vue, but you could not pay me to take one with the Honda engine. I'll stick with the GM Ecotec any day. I have owned one for the past seven years and it has been absolutely flawless. I also do not know anyone who has ever had a problem with one of them either, but I know plenty of people who have had problems with Honda's.
