1985 Toyota Camry DX review from North America
"Great, Cheap Easy car to own and drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Right now I trying to get it repaired. It Started to run rough and the fuel pump started to make a bad noise. So I replaced, it did not solve the problem. Then I replace the fuel filter and fuel line. Still nothing, so I replaced the fuel pressure regulator. Still nothing. Now after $150.00 worth of parts and I'm still stuck. So I was told that the mass air flow sensor may be bad. Because that sensor lets a certain amount of oxygen through and tells the engine how to run and how much fuel to pump. I check on the Autozone web site, to get one new it will be $176.00. Screw that, so I checked Barry's U-Pull It prices and I can get one for $25.99 used. That's the route I'm taking.
General comments?
The car is a great, dependable car. I bought mine three months ago. I paid $700.00 for it. Its white with blue interior. No rust, dings, or dints are on the body. It has a perfect white paint job. The motor is in perfect shape too. It has 128,432 miles on the odometer right now. Over all it has been a very good car and I enjoy driving it.
