2003 Toyota Prado VX 3.0 turbo diesel from Fiji Islands

Summary:

Toyota reliability at its very best

Faults:

The back door hinges.

The reverse light bulb.

Apart from the normal wear and tear, this is a great car.

General Comments:

We have owned this vehicle from new and it's 14 years old now. It has taken us places around the island and has never broken down or missed a beat.

This is not a race car by performance standards, but it has lots of torque, and off the line is quite brisk. Not the most refined diesel engine on the planet, but very, very, very reliable.

This car is very comfortable to drive, and for a big car is very agile.

I highly recommend this car for a large family.

2003 Toyota Prado VX 2.7L from United Arab Emirates

Summary:

Reliable car, no mess no fuss

Faults:

Besides that it's slightly underpowered, absolutely nothing wrong with my Prado.

General Comments:

It goes just about anywhere, somewhat comfy and I know my family is safe on the road. Lots of space, even in a 2 door, nothing rattles, nothing EVER breaks down, and it's firm on the road as far as 4x4's go.

It might not have flames down the side, or be as cool as a Chevy, but it does it's job, exactly what it was built for.

What more do you want, what more do you really need?
