1989 Toyota Supra review from North America
"Very cool, but very expensive to keep up with and repair"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problem I have and have had with my car since I got it is that it over heats. We've replaced practically everything in the coolant part of the car. First my water pump was leaking, then my fan clutch went bad (twice), and then the radiator started leaking. I really don't know what is wrong with it, because everything has been replaced, but the radiator and the water pump. I pray it's one of those.
General comments?
I love my car, it has a little too much power for a new driver like me, but it's awsome. It has leather interior, the nice expensive TEMS system and that little thing will get up and go. As long as I get this over heating problem fixed and don't end up wrecking it, I'm not selling it. However, if a buyer has to go through all the things that I have gone through with this supra, I don't recommend anyone to buy it.
