Nothing.
Although nothing has gone wrong so far, the car has been into the main dealer for some recall warranty work, new clutch pedal spring, radiator mounts and plastic sleeves in the front suspension, they also replaced my anti roll bar bushes FOC.
I have a 2003 Vectra 1.8LS and have just had mine in my local dealers for all the same problems as you mention. I also need a new CD player, and a contact on the air bag keeps clicking on the steering. It also keeps coughing when trying to pull away quickly in 1st and 2nd, they have updated the software, but it still seems to do it. Anyone else know of this problem or a cure?
Not too good for a car with only 18000miles covered!
The clutch pedal is a common fault, and needs replacing.
It also prevents cruise control from operating, unless you
physically lift the clutch pedal with your foot from underneath.
I find the interior is not so durable. Some of the soft touch
finishes to door handles and handbrake lever are beginning to
peel and flake.
The CD/radio problem has also happened to me twice.
I have given up now with original equipment, and am trying
to look for aftermarket kits to replace original set up.
Reliability, has been good, comfort has been good, and as
mine is fitted with LPG dualfuel system, economy is excellent. Purchased with 4800miles on clock, now has 78000.
The cambelt changes at 40k are a bit of a pain, and its something that Vauxhall should give urgent attention too.
Its far too regular a change for a modern vehicle.
