Aircon - unknown faults £750 to fix.
EFi system - £200.
Noise from rear suspension not fixed.
I also suspect central locking may need fixing sometime on drivers door.
Car is very very spacious with good rear legroom.
Poor performance suspect auto unit has something to do with it.
Averaged about 28/29 mpg.
Front seats hard. Go for the comfort seats (optional extra).
I have had many problems with this 93 Passat including a heater core, head gasket, radiator, sensors etc...
This car is a lemon and I would not recommend it to anyone.
I have a 93 Passat VR-6. Well after a new engine, ABS system, all the driver side door handles falling off, sun roof slider breaking, an automatic transmission that is a joke, Ill let you decide if you want one. Oh did I tell you that the radiator hose costs $160.00 USD.
