The cruise control doesn't work.
The "map" holders on the driver and passenger doors are mysteriously cracked.
This car has leg room and head room to spare. Lots of room in the rear too.
The leather bucket seats show no wear and are roomy and comfortable.
Economical on fuel. Drove from Northern New Jersey to Durham, North Carolina on one tank of gas.
Dashboard easy to read.
Roomy economical car. However, is my 940 GL the only one that fishtails on ice and snow??? Volvos are from the land of snow so I'm surprised and concerned. My most recent cars have been an Infinity, Ford Station Wagon, Honda, Porsche 944, and a Mercedes diesel- all with regular year round tires. Only the Porsche - as expected with its power- was as skittish on ice and snow. Any suggestions out there?
Take a bible.
Take a LOT of bibles, put them in a box in the trunk for weight... and buy some snow tires. With careful driving, problem solved.
