That is not totally accurate; I have a 1993 that was made in Mexico and sold here. When my father in law purchased it new, the dealer called him and wanted to buy it back. They had claim to him there was only fifty of that type. Of course he refused. My door sticker says manufactured Chrysler cooperation (vehicle made in Mexico).
