The Holden badge put me off. But I proceeded because it had a Suzuki motor, mechanically sound, but the body structure changes Holden made, made it a nightmare. It has done nothing but cost money, and still has the same problem. I hate it with a passion.

I also bought a Holden Cruze and had lots of problems. A year after I bought my Cruze, it would stop, the engine would cutoff, and it would start after few minutes. It is dangerous because the car behind can hit you. I took the car to the Holden dealer, they exchanged parts from another car (e.g. compressor) and charged me a thousand dollars labour charge. They came out to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the car. After that the car stopped a hundred times and I kept on driving because these crooks want your money.
Now my car is sitting in my garage with a bigger problem - the gearbox is gone. Another dealer charged me $140 to tell me that it needs a new gearbox. It's crazy, but the big question is whether I will buy another HOLDEN.
