Hi all,
I have a 2005 Hyundai XG350 and it developed a rattle at the left rear wheel well. This I know because I had my son sit in the back, lower the top of the seat and stick his head in the trunk and he heard the noise. I took it to Tires Plus and their diagnosis was the upper bushing, but of course they said might as well replace both struts complete for $475; the dealer wants $575.
I figure if it's only the bushing, which I just bought the complete set for $10 at Auto Zone, why replace the whole assembly?
I called around and there are 2 repair shops that will put in the bushings for $100, is that a fair amount?

My best friend owns this car, and got a pin hole in her power steering hose. I'm trying to get the piece I need for her, but I don't know how to get the hose off. Can you help? tigarspot@gmail.com
