Carsurvey.org is moderated quite lightly as a matter of policy, as it's easier to be consistent that way.

Basically, the site tolerates (within limits) contentious opinions and even perhaps a little trolling, rather than moderating more aggressively, which would come with the danger that the site's content would be skewed by my personal views, despite my efforts to avoid that outcome.

GM wants to forget the Aveo. That's why they are changing the name to Sonic, which brings up images of a Hedgehog for many people. Many have said that it's a goofy name change. What I really hate is people buying a product that costs them thousands and thousands in repairs, and is often in the shop, so they can't even drive it. Please search Aveo reviews from drivers and owners on this site, or read about it elsewhere. There are many books on new and used cars as well.

There are MANY who have sworn off GM forever because of this car. They are frustrated and angry. I believe people DO care about opinions that differ from yours, or should care about comments that are truthful about the Aveo. Most people are smart consumers, and LOOK at negative reviews that contain FACTS as well as the positive. If they are negative, too bad if that bothers you. Also, you might want to keep the hate claim comments to yourself. You obviously hate Hyundai/Kia. Also, what gives you the idea that I would JUMP at the chance to own a Hyundai/Kia? I never said it, so please don't tell me what kind of car I prefer, even if there is nothing wrong with owning a Hyundai. EVERYTHING I have stated about GMDAT, and the Daewoo Kalos/Chevrolet Aveo is truth.

How does attempting to censor comments about the Aveo help keep the focus on the Aveo? Negative comments are a part of this site.
