2001 Chevrolet Impala LS review from North America
"Would not purchase!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Heated seat went out $100
Transmission went out at 74000 miles $3000
Rear speed sensor for traction control $500
Cd player stopped reading cd's, did not fix
Left axle seal $140
Valve cover gaskets $400
Mass air flow sensor $385
Alternator $280
Many more things...
I owned my Impala for a little over a year and in that time the total repairs on the car was about $7500.
General comments?
Although I had plenty of problems with the car I did enjoy driving it. It got good gas mileage and it was powerful. I got tired of having to bring it in every couple of weeks for problems so I sold it.
I was extremely unhappy with all of the problems that happened.
