2001 Chevrolet Impala LS review from North America
"A total lemon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced four electric window regulators between 3700 and 4200 miles.
Replaced automatic transmission at 43000 miles.
Replaced intake gasket at 39000 miles.
Replaced blower motor at 41000 miles.
Replaced cloudy distorted headlamps at 41000 miles.
General comments?
The car rides very comfortably.
However it is a major lemon in terms of mechanical and electrical failures.
Premature failure of transmission.
Multiple failures of the electric window regulators make this model a very expensive vehicle to upkeep.
