1994 Nissan D21 Pickup XE review from North America
"This truck has been heaven on earth"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The water pump went at 240,000 miles.
The starter and battery were replaced at 165,000 miles...that's it, except for front brake pads, spark plugs, filters, belts and tires... every other part is oem.
AC/Heater works like a charm.
This truck would go another 250,000 miles if not for the rust on the main frame members.
Fenders and pickup bed are rust free.
I would keep it forever if I could and all for a mere $11,000 and it gets 25 mpg consistently.
All I do is drive it and change the oil and filter every 3000 miles.
General comments?
After 13 years of wear and tear through all 4 seasons of driving in the northeast weather with stop and go city traffic (NYC), commuter traveling (90 miles a day), with highway and country back-roads. This truck is a true Hardbody. Never leaving me on the side of the road, it makes the Energizer Bunny look like an Edsel.
