2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS review from North America
"I don't care for it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 70000 the AC/Air Compressor went out $2000.
At 72000 the Heater Fan started acting up. I need to hit it in the Winter to make it start.
The braided exhaust pipe behind the manifold rusted out $350.
The Exhaust/engine always rattled, until I cut the heat shield off the mid exhaust.
At 83000-yesterday I was in 4WD and pulled into a parking spot in a parking garage. When I pulled in the ABS kicked in and the vehicle didn't stop. I hit a concrete wall going about 4 MPH. It pushed my bumper back about 2 inches and flattened the contour of the front from left to right. I had it checked at a garage and they said that the brakes were fine, that sometimes the ABS kicks in during a tight 4WD turning radius.
General comments?
I don't like it.
The Rodeo smashed itself into a wall.
It is more like a bucking bronco.
