1997 Saturn LS review from North America
"Super gas efficiency; fun to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drivers window motor needed to be replaced. Leaks oil. Some dash lights are out.
General comments?
This car has been reliable, fun to drive--and the best part--it gets 30 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway! I couldn't believe it the first time I checked it--kept trying to fill the tank with gas because I didn't think it was full! Driving from Charlotte to Knoxville, got 47 mpg! I'm sure this is because it's a manual transmission. It's also fun to drive up mountain roads: handles well and has good power for such a small car.
