2000 Nissan Pathfinder LE review from North America

"Problematic, yet amazing, capable truck"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Transmission went at about 110,000 miles. Had it replaced. Still having issues with it shifting, still trying to diagnose the problem. Just read about the TCM today. Mass Air Flow sensor went. Kind my fault tho. I slammed water into going offroading. Simple $150 part and a quick fix. Rear suspension went. Crappy shock and springs on the truck. replaced it with Rancho Shocks and Old Man Emu Springs. Working on the front suspension. and replaced the control arms. Cost an arm and a leg. If anyone is looking for new suspension, I recomend getting the same setup. It is a lot better materials and much stonger. will last a lot longer. however, no one makes comtrol arms except Nissan. Stupid cd player hasn't worked in years. Getting annoyed with it recently. Wanting to try to fix it myself. Ripped of the stock air intake kit. Shedded about 25 pounds there and put on a po charger. Sounds better and adds horsepower. Exhaust is annoying. Going to make it a true dual exhaust. But my cat went, the muffler makes noise, and I lost the reas muffler. Welds broke right off. I already replaced it when I lost the rear muffler once. so I'm doing it right this time. Truck needs a skid plate badly. And the Evap Vent Valve died. That is just annoying. A lot may have happened, but I love my Nissan to death. It has been great to me. It is always there when I need it. Lots of power. Never lost a race yet. Handles amazingly. With a new transmission, I'm not getting rid of it until the engine dies. I'm expecting to be about 300,000 Miles. gotta double my miles.
