2000 Mazda Protege LX review from North America
"Great car so far"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing yet, although last night when I drove on the highway it made strange vibrating noises, might have been the road though. Just got the car so nothing yet.
General comments?
Great on gas compared the the big American cars, pretty comfortable and has great handling for a family type car, feels more like a rally car.
I think I really underestimated this car, only had it for a few days though. The performance isn't too bad, it's pretty peppy as soon as you get it going, could use some low end torque. Wish it was a 5 speed. Already got pulled over last night as I was going down a winding country road. Could you blame me? They let me go though. I'm pretty happy with it as it is my first import.
