1998 Dodge Dakota Clubcab Sport 4X4 review from North America
"It is a throw away truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brake rotators had to be replaced at 35000 miles. The ball joints also were wore out at 35000. The truck only has a 3 year or 36000 mile warranty. I have had the vehicle for 5 years. Transmission is very weak. The truck has no power when you pass.
General comments?
A VW Beetle is a tougher vehicle than Dodge's Dakota truck. I would never own a piece of junk like this truck. It has no warranty that is worth the paper that it is written on. I was ripped off by Dodge. I have never seen anything like this. Toyota has bent over backwards on the service of my 4-Runner. Dodge needs to take some lessons from them.
