2002 Peugeot 307 HDi D Turbo review from UK and Ireland
"Well equipped, but with its problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After traveling 6000 miles in my new 307 I found that I had to replace the two front 17'' tires at a cost of £180 each. I was told by my dealer that they had worn so quickly due to their soft compound and there was nothing any harder to replace them.
At 7500 miles I had to be recovered by the AA as the clutch had disintegrated. I went on to find out that Peugeot couldn't get a new one for a week.
General comments?
This is perhaps one of the best vehicles I have ever driven with regard to handling and performance.
People don't believe me when I say it's a diesel.
