General Comments:

Pretty car, but 16 visits to the garage within the first 2 and a half years. They greet me by my name when they see me in the dealership!

When I challenge the dealer on the quality of the car they send me to Head Office, Head Office don't want to know.

2002 Peugeot 307 LX 1.4 HDI diesel from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Excellent

Faults:

Had the 'COM 2000' indicator box replaced without any problems.

The carpet is coming away in drivers foot well, but doesn't interfere with the pedals.

Replaced all three wiper blades recently and the only place I could find them was a Peugeot Dealership which set me back a staggering £45.

General Comments:

Excellent car to drive and is very economical being as it's a 1.4 HDI Diesel.

Cabin is huge and ergonomically friendly.

Lots of storage space.

2002 Peugeot 307 XR 1.6 from Lebanon

Summary:

Suparb... the best deal ever

Faults:

I do not have serious problems with my 307, but couple of miner things went wrong.

1- The RD'S radio system does not work properly, and always store different channels. This led the dealer to switch off the RD'S

2- The oil indicator sometimes does not read correctly

3- The left front signal does not operate correctly, since the socket led malted

4- The major problem that happens to my car was when I installed Pioneer amplifier and two speakers. The Pioneer dealer had to connect a cable from the battery to the amplifier, but they did not properly seal the hole where the cable goes inside the car which led the water to leakage in the inboard computer and burn it.

General Comments:

My 307 is really great, I enjoy driving it, and it handles quite well specially on mountains curves. Where in the city it runs very smoothly and you can park it everywhere.

The 1.6 engine is quite powerful compared to other car in its class, when it comes to fuel economy it is really impressive and almost the same as my girlfriend's 1.4 Volka Wagon Polo 2004.

The cabin is roomy and comfortable even that I have the 3 doors model, the air condition is very effective and I hardly set it to the high level. In addition, all the buttons and switches in the dash board are placed in the right position so the drive doesn't need to take his eyes of the road.

What makes me love this car is the dealer, everybody at the workshop is processional and they know exactly how to solve any problem.

I have 32000Km on my clock and it is wonderful.

My next car will be either the 307 cc 180 hp or the 307 2.0 manual.
