1984 Buick LeSabre Limited review from North America
"It's a BEAST!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The previous owner of this car kind of beat it up and got the transmission changed, but I haven't had any problems with the transmission since.
I replaced the brake calipers and master cylinder.
The distributor cap and rotor had to be changed.
The belts have a tendency to screech from time to time.
The windows are slow and the A/C needs charging.
Basically all the small things that go wrong with a car nearly 20 years old.
General comments?
This is a great car. It has power and a roaring engine to go along with it. Everyone that rides in it loves the car and it is a real pleasure to drive.
While it is a real gas-guzzling land yacht it rides smoothly and you get respect from other drivers while on the road. You feel real safe in this car, it is like driving a tank.
It will fit you and all your friends and I don't think I could get it to bottom out if I tried. All around a real great car to drive and own.
