2001 Peugeot 206 coupe cabriolet review from UK and Ireland
"A complete heap of junk"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The head gasket blew at approx 20,000 miles.
The handbrake broke.
The indicators stopped working.
The radio didn't work properly.
It was pinking and running very badly.
Start up was awful.
It felt unstable.
The brakes were inconsistent.
My front brakes were the wrong
specification from the factory.
The door wouldn't shut without lowering the window. The glass was getting caught on the outside of the frame.
The dials kept dying.
The steering has problems.
The temperature sensor broke so the computer thought it was overheating. I had to keep stopping.
All kinds of strange and worrying noises coming from the engine compartment.
Few other things, but can't remember off the top of my head!!!
General comments?
This car is a joke.
Such a shame as it looks really good.
Dealers and Peugeot head office don't care about my problems at all.
Don't buy one.
