1988 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- Brake pads 3 times, disks 1 time.
- Light bulbs.
- Light bulb failure warning, rewired to disable.
- Brake pressure sensor switch started to leak (causing brake pressure to drop - good thing it has a switch to tell you).
- Some body rust.
General comments?
Driven quite hard, quite often. Very nice for long drives.
Have driven it about 225,000 km, engine is like new.
2nd owner, bought it fresh, and like new, for about 20% of new price. Good buy as used vehicle, very reliable, and better on petrol than I expected.
