1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 review from North America
"A rush to drive, cheap to own"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The ABS computer was out when I bought it.
Not had to replace anything else since I've had it.
General comments?
This car is mad. With the 6 speed manual transmission it is a pure blast to drive. With 140000+ miles on the the motor the thing will still bark the tires in third gear. It's amazing how stout it is in all the gears. Bad thing about the sixth gear is if you're not doing at least 60 miles an hour it will fall flat on it's face, but with a few cheap bolt on mods even that's not much of an issue. The things you can do to these things are limitless, the aftermarket parts are everywhere. For very little money you make these cars go well in the 12 second mark in the quarter mile. The t-tops are great in the summer, but be careful going through and automatic car wash, you car may not be the only one getting a cleaning. The handling is outstanding. Be careful gearing down in a curve though, the rear end likes to slide a little, but even that can be fixed with a little suspension mods. The possibilities are endless.
