1999 Saturn LS LS2 review from North America
"A poor reliability money pit"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I own two of the same model year. One is my wifes and one is mine.
Early problems with Air Conditioning and electrical systems. The blower fan was replaced under 20000 miles.
The compressor had to be replaced at 30K on one car and at 60K on the other.
Both vehicles have had wiring problems, bot had the O2 sensor replaced uner 40K and also the water pumps replaced under 45K.
General comments?
Do not buy this model year. I have spoken with Saturn corporate about all of the associated problems. After presenting coporate with the list of repairs and problems with these two new vehicles they still will not concede that there are serious design flaws.
The stock Saturn response is simply that these problems are not seen on their other cars. The second popular response is how coincidental that all of these failures are happening on these 2 cars.
