1994 Pontiac Grand Prix SE review from North America
"Driver's Delight"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes were worn to nothing, 82000 driving lights stopped working. Tires bald when bought. Fuse box was hard to find. (no manual)
main problems are easy to fix yourself.
General comments?
I must say that the 94 Grand Prix is very reliable. I've always wanted one and got it from a family friend and must say great deal. When I first got my car I realized that there was no tred on all 4 tires. That was a lot to get replaced, around 400 dollars. The back calipers and brake pads and also drums were worn down to the bone. about 360 dollars to replace. around 82000 miles the front driving lights blew couldn't figure out where the fuse box was and then just found it in the passebger's side door. When I got the car the cigarette lighter fuse was blown, but I couldn't find the fuse box.
Other than the minor maintenance problems there were not many things wrong with this car. This was my first car and still has the pickup of when it was made. I can get from 0 to 60 in 8.6 seconds. The engine is as if new. it's transmission was replaced before I bought the car.
