1993 Mazda MX6 LS review from North America
"Low cost for high style"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Sunroof will open, but won't close.
A bad valve cover gasket was leaking oil to the #1 cylinder when I bought the car, $22.00 for a new gasket, easy to self-install.
Weak sound system, all 6 speakers easily replaced for $75.
General comments?
I've had this car for 4 or 5 months now, and I absolutely love it. It's one of the best looking cars out on the road, and people are always surprised to hear that it's a '93.
It is very easy to work on, basic maintenance such as brakes, oil, and spark plugs presented no problems.
The power is very adequate especially considering the small size of the car. Some simple upgrades such as intake and exhaust would do wonders for this car.
My only gripes involve the single cup holder on the drivers side, and the fact that the back seat is so cramped.
