1988 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 review from North America
"A high performance cash eater"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The old 2.8 blew a connecting rod so I changed the engine for a 3.1. Price was 1275$. (On a engine fully rebuilt)
Soon after the starter, alternator and Battery went all bad on me (230$)
Right after that the Transmission when bad on me (650$) rebuilt one.
General comments?
It's great of the line and with my new 215/60/14 it's of the line start are even better.
The interior isn't spacious, but it's comfortable. The only fault here is the seat the racing seat from the RS version should be a standard on a Z24.
Another thing the view in the back isn't that great because of the high stance of the back and fairly low point of view so parking or changing lane is kinda like having to guess a little.
