1992 Dodge Stealth R/T review from North America

I changed the Front and Rear Struts at 110,000 miles for comfort (not because they were shot). The fronts cost me $250/ea and the rear I think were $100/ea. Lord knows how much they would have charged me if I would have had someone else put them on.

I had to change the Clutch Master Solenoid at around 115,000 miles. Ran about $150. Wasn't an easy job.

My timing belt has skipped twice, but was a cheap (under $50 on this car is cheap) fix.

The outside of the leather seat on the driver's side wears badly on all of these cars.

My digital environmental display controller went out at around 135,000 miles. Picked one up in a junk yard for $80.

Other than that, it's been a pretty healthy car.

The car has good pick-up seeings how it weighs nearly 2 tons.

Not AWD, but handles great. The electronic suspension is also great for touring or sport modes. I only swung the tail of it out twice and that was on a wet surface taking a 90 degree turn at about 20 mph.

I love the cockpit feel of the cabin.

The leather is great and the driver side seat has electric adjustments for lumbar support.

I've got black on black, so it's pretty hot in the summer even with windshield shades and tint. However, the A/C in these cars is great and will cool it down in about 2 minutes.

Fastest car I've been in. Had it up to 155mph on I-70 in KS.

This car is loaded with high tech equipment for a '92.

I love this car. I will probably enter severe depression when my need for a family car arrives and I am forced to sell it.
