1998 Chevrolet Blazer ZR2 review from North America
"Great design, poor execution"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ball joints replaced at 73k.
Interior squeaks.
Passenger seat reclining lever broke.
Erratic windshield wipers (everyone has this problem... I am amazed there is no recall)
Driver's mirror shakes.
Structure shakes like it's made of steamed broccoli.
General comments?
I love the style of this vehicle.
4wd works great... a beast off road.
A real truck utilitarian SUV... not a family vehicle.
Manual tranny and two doors... a rare combo these days; a true outdoorsman's vehicle.
Good ground clearence.
Drives fine... fuel economy decent for an SUV.
V6 is strong and transmission shifts smoothly.
