General comments?
The story of this car began last winter when I had friends from high school over one evening. We were joking about the car I had in high school a 1990 Geo Metro 5-door hatchback. We use to call it the little red car that would never die. Will to sum things up I said to my old classmates I'm going to start driving a Metro again so I started my quest for a used Metro. 3 months later I found it, a 1993 Aqua-Green Metro LSi 5-door hatchback. It was sitting at behind a local garage that specializes in repairing import cars. I went inside and ask the guy how much he wanted for it he said "Its free the catch is it has a creaked head" So $1000 later with a complete rebuilt motor (and the nice guy at the garage even detailed the interior and exterior) the car drives and looks brand new. When I drove the car home my roommate thought it was a brand new car. I even sold my 1996 Cadillac and made the Metro my sole car. As long as you keep up with general maintenance and not abuse the car, these cars are known to go over 200,000 to 300,000 miles.
