2001 Oldsmobile Alero GX review from North America
"Best car ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the brakes 2 times in 9000 miles.
Cruise control button won't stay in the on setting. I have to use duct tape to keep it on.
Loss a lot of it's value in a short amount of time. Bought for 9000 dollars now worth 6800 dollars in just 5 months.
General comments?
My alero is the base model no power windows or V6 power which is what I'm used to. But I needed a car and hear good things about aleros. So I bought one. I will say this my alero handles turns like a sports car and has the power to keep up with them. The twin cam 4 banger has beat turbo talons and si civics.
It's great on gas if I keep my foot out of it.
It's great looking and I love my color a deep blue met.
Bottom line I LOVE MY 4 DOOR ALERO.
