1996 Hyundai Accent GLS review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I crashed it...
I tipped it off a wall and damaged the front end.
Minor body damage. Parts availability was crap!!
In the end I had to pay €130 for each headlamp and
and €90 for each indicator light.
The car tends to slide from the front, even if going at reasonable speed around a corner. I have good tyres and all the rest, but have noticed it quite a bit.
General comments?
I have really driven this car hard, but other than my own inflicted damage, which was superficial, I have had absolutely no problems. Runs very quietly. Starts every time, no matter what the weather
A full tank of petrol (usually around €30/35) gets me 250 miles usually. I think that is exceptional.
I have this price worked out based on trip from my front door to my mother's front door (for a weekend). A few trips around shops etc.. and back to my front door again.
