2006 Honda Accord EXL 4 cylinder

Summary:

Economy and value are terrific

Faults:

Never had any problems.

General Comments:

The drivers seat is the most comfortable one, of any car I have ever owned.

The average gas mileage is: 30/gallon, and on the high speed interstates, it's 36.2/gallon.

The purchase price was very reasonable for a sporty, comfortable car.

These are reasons why I'm a BIG fan of HONDA.

My well-informed grandmother just bought a 2007 Accord EX-L today and I am very impressed with it so far. She was the very first person to drive the car on the road as it only had like 0.2 miles on it while on the lot. The buying experience was the most painless and straight-forward I have ever witnessed and the selection was great. I feel very confident in the car for her and she did buy the 100k warranty, so no worries!

It is a great car. I bought it used in April 2008, with 18000 miles. It is quiet and comfortable. If you are looking for luxury car and cannot afford the Lexus, Acura, or the Infiniti, go for the Accord EX-L. This car runs and just runs.

2006 Honda Accord VP 4 cylinder.

Summary:

It is an absolute great car!

General Comments:

This is the best decision about cars that I have made in a long time. I have had many cars of various makes and models over the past 20 years and I have finally given up. I should have stayed with Honda from the beginning. I had a 90 Civic that lasted me for over 275k miles and finally died. I recently replaced it with a new Accord 4 cylinder and love it. It handles very well, the 4 cylinder engine is very powerful and the car is extremely comfortable. The transmission is perfectly geared and does not surge during acceleration and the engine is smooth as silk. I got it for a great price and for what I paid it came with everything I needed even though it was the VP trim. It was an auto with power everything. What a bargain. My kids tell me all the time how much they love the cavernous back seat. No more cramped Volkswagon Jettas or BMW's for them. I've tried being patriotic and bought several American cars and regretted every one. I hope to drive this Honda as long as the civic with 275K I had before.

Well, you have not had it for a long period of time.

My last car was an Accord (1998). It only lasted 250.000 miles when the head gasket went and transmission went soon after. I did not purchase another, Went with a 2005 Pontiac G6 this time, and have not been disappointed yet. I have 36,000 on the odometer in the 12 months that I have own it, with its smooth ride and tons of power; I will not look at another Asian manufactured car again.
