1994 Acura Integra GS-R 1.8 L from North America

Summary:

Fast, but costly to maintain

Faults:

I replaced the brake pads at 50,000 miles, but they still make a squeaky noise.

The joint between header and muffler pipe cracked. However, it cost me nothing because it was under warranty.

Clear coat paint on the roof behind the sun roof peeled off, leaving ugly marks.

The dashboard makes an annoying rattling noise.

Needs a new master clutch at 68,000 miles.

Air leaks on both the driver and passenger doors.

General Comments:

This is a fast car for its class.

However it also produces a loud noise, form both the engine and the air leaks. Therefore, a sound dampener is highly recommended.

1994 Acura Integra GS-R 1.8L DOHC VTEC from North America

Summary:

Quick, economical, reliable, amusing car

Faults:

Exhaust A-pipe was cracked and rattled from 3100-3500RPM. Fixed by replacing the entire header/A-pipe with a DC Sports ceramic coated one-piece header.

Power antenna doesn't go all the way up.

General Comments:

Considering that my 4 door weighs over 2700lbs, the minimal torque from the 1.8L is barely adequate for driving around town. Get it on the open highway and then it feels right at home.

Fortunately, the minimal torque goes hand in hand with good gas mileage.

Handling is decent for FWD, but it's nothing like my old 240SX.

1994 Acura Integra RS 1.8L from North America

Summary:

Absolutely worth the money spent, I will buy another when the time comes

Faults:

Radiator went at 119,000 miles.

General Comments:

With the right tires, I recommend Toyo Proxes, the car literally handles like it's on rails.

If you keep up with the general maintenance (ie oil & tranny fluid changes, tune-ups), then the car is pretty much worry free.

The bucket seats could be a little more comfortable.

The car has a very secure, stable feel when driving it. It's light, but doesn't feel that way.

This is my second one and I recommend it strongly.

1994 Acura Integra LS 1.8 from North America

Summary:

A wonderful, sporty, comfortable, luxury car at an affordable price!!

Faults:

The radiator had to be replaced because the half plastic top for it split.

General Comments:

Wonderful car, I can't wait until I can afford to buy a brand new one!! MPG is terrific and the acceleration is amazing for such a small engine..

Though the car is good, but thier authorized dealer rips you off like GILLMAN.

I have spend lots on this car than I expected.

1994 Acura Integra GS-R 1.8 V-TECH from North America

Summary:

Great trouble-free, reliable and dependable sports car

Faults:

Over the past three years I've replaced the entire AC system piece by piece. That was probably due to the wreck though at 8k miles. Manifold exhaust came loose ($30 fix).

General Comments:

Great car. Doesn't have enough low end torque, but what can you expect from 1.8L? Everything works as well as the day I got it. A little loud on the highway, but it's a sports car.

1994 Acura Integra LS 1.8 from North America

Summary:

Solid sports car with reliability that doesn't end

Faults:

Not a whole lot has gone wrong. I had to replace the master cylinder for the clutch at 110,000 miles. Just regular care. The only thing is that my moonroof ratchets when it opens.

General Comments:

Fabulously built car! I'd buy another. Can't say the same for my Chevrolet experience.

1994 Acura Integra RS 1.4? from North America

Faults:

Only 2 minor things - the "auto" feature for the driver's door window and the horn buttons have cracked and popped out.

General Comments:

This is a fun car to drive and has a good solid feel to it. However, the ride can be very jolting when driving on pothole-filled roads. Also, its' acceleration is a bit sluggish in the 55-60 mph range when in 5th gear. Overall, though, it has been an excellent car and I would recommend it to anyone looking at cars in its' class.

Faults:

After I wash my car the rear tail lights retain water and it is a pain to get the water out. The water does not get into the tail lens.

General Comments:

I would buy another again.
