The only thing that has gone wrong with the car is having to replace the interior light bulb and the windshield wipers.
I have leased my 2004 Aveo Sedan for nearly 3 years now with 30,000 kms on the clock. I have not had one minute of trouble with my car and I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba with freezing temperatures of minus 40 degrees Celsius and have had no problems starting or driving my car in those conditions. I have also driven across country to the West Coast -a journey of over 3,000 kms through the Rocky Mountains and had no problems getting up and down the mountains. The fuel consumption is great.
The Korean-built Aveo is a very good small car at a tremendous price. I test drove an Aveo in 2005 and I was amazed at how smooth, powerful, and quiet the car was for such an inexpensive car. I'm glad you have been pleased with yours. I especially like the styling changes made to the 2007 models, and if I were in the market for a new small car I'd definitely put the Aveo high on my list.
The restyle of the Aveo in 2007 killed any desire that I ever had to purchase one of the cars. The dashboard looks ridiculous and over-styled.
