1999 Chevrolet Blazer LS 2 door review from North America
"Loved it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Major problem was repeated failure of the Delco battery (several times while under warranty).
Alternator replaced at 120,000 miles.
Blocked heater core (at 150,000 miles).
No problems with engine, suspension, electrical system, A/C, transmission etc.
Tire wear was minimal! Replaced after 85,000 miles and still in pretty decent shape.
It was rather noisy inside at highway speeds.
General comments?
I really like this Blazer -- it is the first vehicle I have ever owned that did NOT nickel and dime me to death.
Decent gas mileage (23-24 mpg).
Engine was powerful and peppy.
A/C was awesome.
Paint in excellent shape.
With a full sized tire in the back - it really cut down on the cargo room.
This car was stolen in February 2008 and I miss it!!
